Big in Japan takes you on a two-week journey through Japan’s vibrant car culture, from Osaka’s hidden garages and passionate enthusiasts to Tokyo’s fusion of innovation and tradition. Among dusty workshops, classic restorations, and late-night meets, we discovered a community united by creativity, heritage, and a shared obsession for all things automotive.
The collection features over 200 8.5x11 pages featuring hundreds of photographs, each conveying a story open to personal interpretation. The images have no lengthy captions, allowing viewers to connect with them directly. This straightforward presentation encourages discussions about each photograph, promoting personal insights. This method enhances their beauty and inspires deeper engagement and reflection from each observer.
